Da Épinal in der Nähe von Besançon liegt, scheint Georgin vom "Tarot de Besançon" inspiriert worden zu sein. Wir finden "Juno" und "Jupiter" auf den Tarots Nr. II und V anstelle von "Pape" und "Papesse". Einige der Kartentitel weichen von den traditionellen ab, wie z. B. "Escamoteur" anstelle von "Bateleur" und "Capucin" anstelle von "Hermite". Die Karte "Justice" zeigt einen Spiegel und eine Schlange neben einem Buch und Gesetze in Stein gemeißelt.

Because Épinal is near Besançon, Georgin seems to have been inspired by the "Tarot de Besançon". We find "Juno" and "Jupiter" on Tarots No. II and V instead of "Pape" and "Papesse". Some of the card titles differ from the traditional ones, such as: B. "Escamoteur" instead of "Bateleur" and "Capucin" instead of "Hermite". The card "Justice" shows a mirror and a snake next to a book and laws carved in stone.
